My name is Derick Pignone and I am based out of Burke, VA. I began my photography career in 2013. I have dabbled in several types of photography, including family, portraiture, pets, nature, and automotive. I received hands-on training in the Fall of 2015 at The Art League in Arlington, VA. My love of photography runs deep, and I enjoy sharing this with clients to capture and preserve their timeless moments. 

 

I started photography as a hobby when an old Nikon D40 was handed down to me. At the time, I was serving active duty in the U.S. Navy as my full time career, but I filled in every free moment with this hobby. I have since upgraded my equipment and expanded my techniques, and my hobby has turned into a passion. 

 

I created OEM Fotografia in 2013 to put my passion into action. I have had the privilege over the years of shooting many different types of photography, including family, portraiture, pets, nature, and automotive, with a focus in family sessions. I work one on one with my clients to determine how they are visualizing the results of their photo shoot, and I customize accordingly.
