OUR STORY

My love for veterans inspired me to create BrassForBattles, a business dedicated to war hero service. I am an avid shooter and firearms enthusiast and have owned and operated my own business for 12 years. I enjoy finding unique solutions to existing problems in today's world. That with the unique synergy of my compassion for servicemen and women, experience as a businessowner, and enjoyment of the sport of shooting and firearms is the origin of my passion for the project, BrassForBattles.

The initial goal of BrassForBattles is to generate enough revenue to build an ecofriendly, energy efficient duplex apartment that will house 2 struggling military veterans at a time. The duplex will serve as transitional housing while BrassForBattles’ volunteers work with other charities and organizations to assist our veterans in securing selfsufficiency.

Therefore, I am continuously seeking relationships with likeminded businesses and individuals to coordinate our efforts and create real change.

Ultimately, we all have the same mission.

I find I am more of a spiritual person, than a religious one. I spend a great deal of time pondering life, selfreflecting, and doing what I can to understand God’s purpose for me and my life. Many things are important to me, but what I find most fulfilling is helping others through whatever hardship they may be experiencing and assisting them in their pursuit for happiness. After all, no one can succeed in this life alone. Personally, I find my strength in family. My mother, my 2 brothers, my sister, and the many close friends I hold dear.

The ideology by which I live my personal and professional life and the vision of BrassForBattles can be summarized by this quote:

“Don’t feel bitter that people remember you only when in need. Feel privileged that you represent a beacon of light. They come to you when surrounded by darkness.” Unknown

Thanks so much for your time and I look forward to working with you on this project.

Jonathan
