Leroy Crawford's InsideOut presentation provides an honest, unfiltered view of today's gang and street culture, and highlights the factors that create at-risk youth. Today all youth has the potential to become at-risk regardless of their demographic residence. Parents and teenagers cannot avoid or ignore the influence of social media, music, entertainment, and neighborhood carryover drama. InsideOut will clearly outline the inner workings of current youth culture and help parents, teachers, social workers, juvenile justice workers, and youth service providers create realistic solutions.

 

InsideOut is currently being piloted at the New Orleans Juvenile Detention Center, and also featured recently in the Fusion TV Documentary Prison Kids: Juvenile Justice in America.

 

InsideOut is a unique, entertaining and interactive experience. With the aid of a humorous animated presentation, Mr. Crawford dares his audience to confront their hurdles with laughter and then shout proudly “I survived that too and I love myself AS IS.” He engages the audience by asking difficult questions, and sharing brief stories of people who faced similar situations and equally important life events, but who never gave up on themselves and found a way to win.
