NFL free agent and former Georgia football player Rennie Curran will soon be a published author.
Curran announced the release of his new book "Free Agent: the Perspective of a Young African-American Athlete," on Friday.
The mission of Curran's 150-page book is to provide readers with informational, yet entertaining advice that helps people — not just athletes — embrace and overcome failures. He details his experience of being a third-round NFL draft pick to being cut from the team two years later.
